Ready For Christmas, holding hands in the fight against cancer!

Artistic events and meetings have the power to unite people and transform feelings into actions. That has been the proposal of The Cure Project, which purpose is to raise funds to support clinical researches addressing cancer. This year, the initiative will be present at the Ready for Christmas, a cultural event carried out every year in Miami. A part of the income generated by the sale of tickets will be donated to The Cure Project.

Fernanda Schwyter, founder of the association, explains that the initiative was born to become a vanguard and transformation player in the civil society. For such reason, the project elected art as the main tool to raise awareness. “We are a platform of interaction and engagement, using music, art, design, sport, fashion and events to involve people and ambassadors in the fight against cancer. It is an honor to count on the support from the Brazilian General Consulate in Miami, where we will participate of the Journey Through Brazilian Experiences, in partnership with the Brazil Foundation y Negroni’s Trio” to raise funds for the fight against cancer in Latin America, explains Fernanda Schwyter, founder of The Cure Project.

Ready for Christmas will take place on December 13th, at 08:00 pm, at the Miami Dade Auditorium. This year the event will feature a show by Marger, singer and song-writer, who will be accompanied by the pianist and maestro Jose Negroni and his jazz band, nominated three times for the Grammy Latino.
