Suspended the inclusion of new patients in research with Phosphoethanolamine

After the high expectations created about the effectivess of the phosphoetanolamine in cancer treatment from uncontrolled substance use in patients at USP Sao Carlos, was suspended the inclusion of new patients in the polls began in July 2016 for lack of money. Of the 59 patients evaluated so far, only one, with melanoma, presented a response (had objetice reduction of tumor size).

The researchers conducting the study now discuss whether research will follow in patients with melanoma.
